A. 1. Introduction to the Model Body

Copper staircase mold bodyComposed of aluminum or copper ladders, the maximum thickness should absorb high-energy photons greater than 30cm of water, and the grayscale difference corresponding to the thickness of each ladder should be equal. The number of steps should not be less than 5.

A.2. MU 法

Adjust the irradiation field to half of its maximum value, irradiate 1MU, reduce the size of the irradiation field by one-third, irradiate 1MU, then reduce the size of the irradiation field by one-third, and finally irradiate 1MU to obtain an image. Measure the grayscale values of each image step separately, and linearly fit the grayscale values with the corresponding total illumination MU number.

If the EPID system allows for more MU irradiation in sequence, the number of irradiation fields can be correspondingly increased to obtain more grayscale steps.
