Overview
When a droplet reaches equilibrium on the surface of a solid, the angle between the gas-liquid interface and the liquid-solid interface at the junction of gas, liquid, and solid phases is called the contact angle. The main method for characterizing the surface wettability of materials using contact angle. The contact angle of hydrophilic surfaces is less than 60 degrees, while the contact angle of hydrophobic surfaces is greater than 60 degrees and less than 120 degrees. The contact angle of the superhydrophobic surface is greater than 120 degrees.

Surface wetting behavior analysis: It can accurately measure static/dynamic contact angle, rolling angle (slip angle), and advance/retreat angle, analyze the spreading, penetration, and absorption properties of liquids on material surfaces, evaluate wetting hysteresis, and comprehensively characterize the wetting dynamic process of material surfaces.

Hydrophilic and hydrophobic performance and adhesion testing: By measuring the contact angle, adhesion force, and surface friction force, the wettability, smoothness, and practical application performance of the material are evaluated. It is suitable for analyzing the hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of flat, bent, or concave convex surfaces.

Wettability testing of fibers and composite materials: Supports surface wettability and hydrophobicity testing of single fibers, textile materials, and composite materials to meet the needs of functional material research and quality control.

Dynamic analysis of penetration and absorption of porous/powder materials: Using video recording or high-speed continuous shooting technology, real-time monitoring of powder absorption, hydrophilic penetration of porous materials, and surface spreading behavior of polymer materials can be achieved. The test results can be visually presented in dynamic curve spectra.

Interface Wettability Test: It can measure the static/dynamic contact angle between a material and another phase (liquid/gas) in a liquid, suitable for studying the wetting behavior of water absorbing materials, permeable materials, and surfaces with special properties.

Accurate measurement of surface/interfacial tension: supports static/dynamic surface/interfacial tension testing of liquid/fluid systems (including droplet suspension method), and can analyze polar and non-polar components.

Fully automatic overall tilt system (tilt speed, tilt angle, etc. are digitally controlled by software): It can automatically measure the rolling angle/sliding angle of the material surface, display it in real time, intelligently identify the rolling angle, and reflect it in a single data label.

Performance testing of adhesives/inks and other liquids: It can accurately measure the surface tension and interfacial tension of adhesives, inks, chemical liquids and other fluids, automatically test the static/dynamic surface interfacial tension of various liquids/fluids, and measure the polar and non-polar components.

Surface Free Energy and Polarity/Non Polarity Analysis: By calculating the solid surface free energy and its polar/non-polar components through contact angle data, the uniformity and cleanliness of the material surface are evaluated, and the adhesion work between liquid and solid is analyzed to provide data support for process optimization.
