Overview

The HY-UQK connecting rod floating ball liquid level controller is suitable for liquid control of various containers. When the liquid level reaches the upper and lower switching values, the controller contact sends an on-off switch signal. The product series is divided into two categories: explosion-proof and non explosion-proof. The explosion-proof type can be used for liquid level control of pressure vessels with flammable and explosive media of Class 1.2 and Groups A, B, and C. The controller is not suitable for media that have strong corrosive effects on materials such as brass and stainless steel, as well as media containing magnetic impurities.

working principle

The HY-UQK floating ball liquid level controller consists of two parts: a liquid level sensor and a current converter. The floating ball changes synchronously with the liquid level, controlling the suction and disconnection of the reed switch, so that the resistance inside the sensor changes linearly. The converter then converts the resistance change into a 4-20mA standard current signal and superimposes it with a digital signal output. It can display, alarm and control the liquid level of the medium in open, closed containers or underground tanks in the instrument control room. The detected medium can be water, oil, acid, alkali, industrial sewage and other conductive and non-conductive liquids, and can overcome the influence of false liquid level caused by liquid foam. Widely used in industries such as refining, chemical, papermaking, food, and wastewater treatment.

Precautions

If not specified, the upper and upper limits are set to connect as the liquid level increases, while the lower and lower limits are set to connect as the liquid level decreases.

When used in situations where the liquid fluctuates greatly, in order to prevent misoperation, please install anti fluctuation devices.

When the float moves up and down, it should be unobstructed. If there are foreign objects in the liquid, please do not use a float level switch.

If the switch signal is connected to the control circuit, it is recommended to use it together with the DF-1A conversion amplifier produced by our company.
