I. Overview

The YB-IIA clarity detector is a standard instrument developed in accordance with the provisions of the lamp inspection method in the Appendix of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China titled "Visible Foreign Matter Inspection Method". Suitable for the examination of visible foreign objects in injections and eye drops.

2、 Performance characteristics

The illumination index of the light source, umbrella shaped device, black background, and detection of white background of the instrument all comply with the pharmacopoeia regulations. The light path system composed of dedicated three primary color fluorescent lamps, electronic ballasts, and shading devices eliminates flicker, adjustable illumination, improves visual inspection resolution, and reduces visual fatigue. The digital electronic illuminance meter has intuitive readings, stable and reliable. The detection time limit can be set arbitrarily within the maximum design seconds range, and it has an audible and visual alarm function.

2. The instrument is designed reasonably, with stable performance, easy operation, and beautiful appearance, making it an ideal device that meets the requirements of the pharmacopoeia.

The YB-IIA instrument is operated on one side, while the YB-3 instrument is operated on both sides. Compared to older instruments, the operation panel has been completely replaced with touch buttons, making performance operation more convenient. The illumination detection adopts a new type of chip, which measures more accurately and adds the function of calibrating the illumination measurement of the instrument.

4、 Instrument installation operation

1. Place each testing whiteboard in the corresponding position according to the pharmacopoeia regulations.

2. Turn on the power switch, and the fluorescent light will turn on.

3. Turn on the illuminance switch, and the illuminance display will show the number "XX", indicating an illuminance value of XX × 100 lx.

4. Adjust the required illuminance according to the pharmacopoeia requirements. Insert the plug of the illuminance sensor of the instrument into the panel hole, open the sensor cover, place the probe facing the light source at the position of the sample to be measured, and adjust the knob on the right side to achieve the required illuminance displayed in the window. After adjusting the illuminance, unplug the illuminance sensor plug, cover it with a lid, and store it properly.

5. According to the requirements of the tested drug, set the required testing time: press and hold the "timer button" for 3 seconds to enter the timer mode, press the "preset button" to set the time, and cycle the set value between 1-99 seconds to select the desired time limit.

6. When starting to test the sample, press the "timer button" to count down the window. When the time is up, the buzzer will beep continuously for 5 seconds. If you need to time again, press the 'timer button' again to start the next countdown.

To switch to illuminance measurement mode, press and hold the "timer button" for 3 seconds to switch to illuminance testing mode.

5、 Precautions

The power supply of the instrument must have a protective grounding wire and be well grounded to ensure the safety of the instrument and the operator!

If there is any medicine left in the inspection tray, it should be removed in a timely manner to prevent it from flowing into the electrical box and causing other accidents.

6、 Instrument maintenance

Please do not place this instrument in damp, windy, sunny, or rainy places. Before using the instrument, please check the power cord and plug, and use a brush to clean the inner wall of the light box. If the lamp does not light up, first check the fuse and power supply, and then check the contact between the two ends of the lamp.

1. Prepare a calibrated standard illuminance meter first;

2. In the shutdown state, press and hold the preset key and timer key at the same time, then turn on the device and enter the illumination calibration mode;

3. At this time, the window value flashes. Place the probe of the standard illuminance meter in the same horizontal position as the probe of the machine, and adjust the illuminance value to be consistent with the standard illuminance meter value by pressing the preset or timer button;

4. Wait for the window to stop flashing and save the values.
