The FluoreSens10 Solar Induced Chlorophyll Fluorescence (SIF) Monitoring System is a system used to measure the solar induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) of plants during photosynthesis by collecting signals of downward irradiance and upward reflected solar radiation
Fluoresen10 daylight inductionChlorophyll Fluorescence (SIF) Monitoring SystemPurpose: It is a system used to measure the solar induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) of plants during photosynthesis by collecting the downward irradiance and upward reflected solar radiation signals of plants. Providing direct measurements of daylight induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) can accurately estimate the two largest sources of biosphere carbon, total primary productivity (GPP) and ecosystem respiration (RECOM). This system can be used alone or in conjunction with vorticity covariance (EC) stations. The system includes a high-resolution spectrometer QE Pro, which can measure radiation signals between 650 and 800 nm and observe SIF signals within the O ₂ A and O ₂ B oxygen absorption bands.

When FluoreseNS 10 is combined with vorticity covariance systems, its main potential application is to estimate the total primary productivity (GPP) of carbon dioxide and assist in dividing the carbon dioxide exchanged by net ecosystems into component fluxes. It can be used as an independent system for monitoring vegetation health status, performing stress monitoring, detecting early stress on crops and vegetation, and providing early warning for drought and fire risk assessment.
