Three density measurement modes:

Mode 1: For non absorbent ceramic products, the specific gravity and volume of the product can be directly read

Mode 2: For ceramic products with water absorption, bulk density, wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption rate, open pore volume, sealed pore volume, and total porosity can be directly read.

Mode 3: The wax sealing method can directly read the bulk density;

Mode 4: For ceramic products with water absorption, the water absorption rate of the ceramic material can be directly read.

Density measurement steps for water absorbing ceramic materials

① Place the sample on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
② After saturating the sample, place it on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
③ After saturating the sample, place it in water, measure the weight in the water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.
Press 0 to switch between displaying wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption, open pore volume, closed pore volume, and total porosity.

Measurement steps for non absorbent materials:
① Place the sample on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
② Immerse the sample completely in water, measure the weight in water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.

Measurement steps for density of porous materials using wax sealing method:
① Place the sample on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
② Place the sample in the wax oven and seal it with wax before placing it on the measuring table. Measure the weight in the air and press the M key to memorize.
③ Put the sealed wax sample into water, measure the weight in the water, press the M key to remember, and directly display the density value. Press 0 to switch the display volume.
