Product Details

The carbon sulfur analyzer is used in conjunction with electric arc furnaces to quickly and accurately determine the mass fractions of carbon and sulfur elements in steel, iron, alloys, non-ferrous metals, cement, ores, catalysts, and other materials. This device is a high-tech product that integrates optics, mechatronics, computer, and analytical technology. It is connected to an electronic balance and can achieve non quantitative sample weighing. It has the advantages of wide measurement range, strong anti-interference ability, complete functions, easy operation, and accurate and reliable analysis results. It is an ideal analytical equipment for determining carbon and sulfur elements in many industries.
Key operating points of carbon sulfur analyzer:
1. The electric arc furnace in the carbon sulfur analyzer must use high-purity oxygen for combustion assistance, and the use of oxygen must be operated in accordance with the safety regulations for the use of oxygen.
2. The carbon sulfur analyzer adopts a combined measurement of carbon and sulfur, with sulfur dioxide absorption followed by carbon dioxide absorption during testing. When titrating, carbon should be determined first, and the upper part of the absorption cup should be kept blue to prevent carbon leakage. After carbon is determined to the endpoint, sulfur should be determined. Wait a moment when reaching the endpoint, then slowly reach the endpoint, otherwise it is easy to overdose.
3. The carbon sulfur analyzer equipment should be placed away from corrosive gases such as acids and alkalis to avoid dust and vibration interference in the laboratory.
4. The laboratory temperature is 10-30 degrees Celsius and the humidity is less than 75%.
5. After analyzing the sample, the sulfur absorption solution should be partially drained and the absorption solution should be added to the original volume to prevent the carbon absorption solution from reabsorbing. If reabsorbing is found, it must be washed clean with distilled water, otherwise it will cause errors and lower sulfur results in the next measurement.
6. When shutting down the instrument, follow the prescribed steps. Directly turning off the power may cause data loss and irreparable damage.
Selection of Carbon and Sulfur Analyzer
One If the carbon sulfur analyzer detects too many products every day, it is recommended that you choose a carbon sulfur analyzer that is easy to learn, easy to operate, and easy to maintain, because the higher the detection frequency, the shorter the service life.
II If there are relatively few products tested by the unit, it is recommended to choose a well configured carbon sulfur high-speed analyzer. This way, the laboratory technician can operate it conveniently, and it is also more beautiful and high-end, which reflects the importance of the unit in the testing and testing process and is more sexual.
III Don't think that high instrument prices are enough, as this is a misconception among many units when purchasing carbon sulfur high-speed analyzers. It is still necessary to choose according to the actual situation of the unit and achieve moderation.
As a precision instrument in chemical instruments, how do we usually verify the measurement results of a carbon sulfur analyzer correctly? There are generally three methods, but these methods can only indicate the existence of errors and cannot prove *. Let's take a closer look at which three methods are used.
(1) Parallel measurement of carbon and sulfur analyzer. If the difference between two results is significant and exceeds the allowable range, it indicates that at least one of the two results is incorrect and should be reanalyzed. If the two results are very close, the average value can be taken, but it cannot be said that the results obtained by the chemical carbon sulfur analyzer are correct.
(2) Compare with standard samples. If a standard sample is included in a batch of analysis and the analysis results of the standard sample are consistent with the reference value of the standard sample *, it indicates that there is no significant error in the analysis results of this batch. But the composition of the analyzed sample should be close to that of the standard sample, otherwise it cannot explain the problem.
(3) Compare carbon and sulfur analyzers using different analysis methods. This is a relatively reliable testing method. If the result of the copper content in the tailings determined by the pre furnace analyzer using the polarographic method and the result obtained by the atomic absorption spectroscopy method are *, it generally proves that this result is reliable. On the contrary, it indicates that at least one of the two methods has inaccurate measurement results.
