Capillary viscometer electronic timer

ViscoClock plus is an electronic timing device for glass capillary viscometers, used to measure kinematic viscosity and relative viscosity.

ViscoClock plus automatically measures the flow time of temperature stable liquid in capillary viscometer through infrared grating: Insert the viscometer containing the sample into ViscoClock plus and immerse it in a constant temperature bath to stabilize the temperature. After constant temperature, pump the sample into the measuring ball and automatically detect the flow time.

In addition, large-sized displays can easily read flow time and other information such as date, time, sample identification, and viscometer identification.

ViscoClock Plus is designed specifically for SI Analytics ® Design of Ubbelohde, Micro Ubbelohde, and Micro Austenitic Viscometers. Use two infrared gratings to detect the liquid meniscus passing through and automatically measure the flow time. Compared to using a stopwatch for measurement, automatic time measurement has significantly higher repeatability. Therefore, some viscosity measurement standards allow for reduced flow time in the case of automatic flow time measurement.

ViscoClock Plus can be used to measure temperatures within the range of -40 ℃ to 150 ℃. The bench of ViscoClock plus is made of high-quality polymer PPA. To stabilize the temperature in a constant temperature bath, the following liquids are suitable: water, alcohol, ethylene glycol, paraffin oil, and silicone oil. The electronic measuring device is built into the PP casing.

The measurement results of ViscoClock plus can be stored on a flash drive, including date, time, and sample/viscometer identification. The data is stored in PDF (non editable) and CSV (editable) formats. Alternatively, for data transmission, ViscoClock plus can be connected to a printer (TZ 3863) or computer.
