Magnesium carbonate generated by chemical methods is decomposed into magnesium oxide after calcination. The currently used calcination furnaces are vertical kilns and rotary kilns. The above method for producing magnesium oxide, especially the vertical kiln method, wastes energy and causes environmental pollution, and the product quality is unstable. The use of a dynamic calcination furnace to calcine magnesium oxide results in significantly better product indicators at all levels compared to traditional methods

The dynamic calcination and drying combination calcination furnace developed and produced by our company is a furnace type for magnesium carbonate calcination and drying. The magnesium carbonate filter cake formed by dehydration is dried by the waste heat from calcination tail gas, and the dried powder material is calcined and decomposed into magnesium oxide in the calcination furnace. The calcination decomposition time is 3-4 seconds, and the calcination temperature is 800-900 ℃.


Working Principle:

The tail gas produced by calcining materials in a dynamic calcination furnace is fed into a Stede dryer. A filter cake shaped magnesium carbonate with a moisture content of 70-80% is sent into the dryer by a feeder, and then dispersed and dried to form powdered magnesium carbonate. The hot air generated by coal, natural gas, or coal gas enters the calcination furnace and mixes with the magnesium carbonate fed into the furnace for heat transfer. After being heated by hot air at 800-900 ℃, magnesium carbonate is rapidly decomposed into magnesium oxide in a few seconds. The decomposed magnesium oxide is captured by a trap and stored in a warehouse.
