The COL6 fiber optic collimator produced by Shanghai Wenyi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. has FC/PC or FC/APC interfaces, with a lens diameter of 6mm. It can be used for single-mode or multi-mode fiber jumpers, with alignment wavelengths ranging from 380 nm to 1750 nm. Depending on the wavelength, each collimator undergoes factory alignment to simplify the fiber coupling detection system, using a stainless steel housing. Used for collimating light emitted from FC connector fibers and possessing diffraction limited performance. These fiber collimators can be fine tuned for focal length by loosening the screws on the side. The product has a compact structure and is easy to integrate into existing devices. Because non spherical lenses produce chromatic aberration, the effective focal length (EFL) is wavelength dependent.

The product has a small size, is easy and simple to use, and has a wide range of wavelength selectivity, making it suitable for various optical applications! The lens of this collimating lens is a non spherical lens with a diameter of 6mm, focal lengths of 8mm and 15mm, and can be connected to jumpers with fiber output power less than 10w!

This product can be used for fiber optic collimation or coupling focusing; For collimation purposes, it can be connected to single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers; If used for coupling, it is best to choose multimode fiber, which will improve the coupling efficiency (the numerical aperture and core diameter of multimode fiber are relatively larger than those of single-mode fiber).
