Appearance inspection: Regularly check whether the sensor housing is damaged, deformed, or corroded, whether the display screen is clear, and whether the connection parts are loose or leaking.
Function check: Observe whether the measurement display value of the sensor is normal, whether it can accurately reflect the actual pressure changes, and check whether the alarm function is normal.
Cleaning and maintenance
Regular cleaning: Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the sensor housing to remove dust, oil stains, and other pollutants. For stubborn stains, a mild cleaning agent can be used, but it is important to avoid the cleaning agent from entering the interior of the sensor.
Prevent blockage: Ensure that there are no foreign objects blocking the pressure inlet of the sensor to avoid affecting measurement accuracy. For sensors installed in harsh environments, it may be considered to install filtering devices.
Calibration and maintenance
Regular calibration: Calibrate according to the required cycle in the sensor's user manual, and it is generally recommended to calibrate once a year. Calibration can use high-precision pressure standard sources and calibration equipment to ensure that the measurement accuracy of the sensor is within the specified range.
Timely calibration: If the sensor undergoes maintenance, component replacement, or measurement accuracy deviation is found, it should be calibrated in a timely manner.
Other precautions
Avoid overpressure: During use, ensure that the pressure borne by the sensor is within its rated range to avoid damage to the sensor caused by overpressure.
Pay attention to temperature effects: Avoid prolonged operation of sensors in environments with excessively high or low temperatures. If the ambient temperature exceeds the specified range, it may affect measurement accuracy or even damage the sensor.
Record maintenance information: Detailed records of each maintenance operation, including inspection time, cleaning status, calibration results, etc., in order to track the usage status and maintenance history of sensors and promptly identify potential problems.
