1、 Product Overview

BOTE BT-YFS30 communication RS485It is a wind speed and direction measurement instrument developed based on the principle of ultrasonic waves. This sensor provides real-time, high-precision three-dimensional wind speed (U/V/W vector) and wind direction data in dynamic applications, supporting dynamic monitoring and disaster warning of weather such as typhoons and hurricanes. For example, wind speed changes can be accurately captured in meteorological stations, assisting in pollution dispersion trend analysis and air quality assessment. These data also provide a basis for decision-making on potential range adjustments. Ultrasonic wind sensors are designed specifically for harsh environments, providing stable and reliable wind measurement services to help optimize ship performance.

Ultrasonic wind measurement is an application of ultrasonic detection technology in gas media, which uses the influence of air flow (wind) on the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in air to measure wind speed. Compared with conventional wind cup or rotor anemometers, the characteristic of this measurement method is that the entire wind measurement system has no mechanical rotating parts, which belongs to inertial measurement. Therefore, it can accurately measure the high-frequency components of gust pulsation in natural wind.The device uses six ultrasonic transducers to poll and transmit and receive ultrasonic waves in three-dimensional space, and measures wind speed and direction based on the time difference of ultrasonic waves propagating in the air.
