Bote BT-1M indoor pipeline leak detector
Bote BT-1M indoor pipeline leak detector

1Basic principles of leak detection:
The buried pressure pipeline may suffer from sand holes, damage, cracks, and other damages due to the pressure inside the pipeline There is a pressure difference outside, which causes the water flow to spray outwards. During this process, friction occurs between the jet water flow and the damaged area Vibration is caused at the damaged area, resulting in a leakage sound. The composition of leaked sound mainly includes the following parts:(1) Friction sound between pipeline damage and pressure water flow; (2) Vibration sound at the damaged part of the pipeline; (3) The sound of jet water hitting the surrounding medium at the damaged area. During the inspection, the pipeline is under pressure. Do not stop the water for inspection. If there is insufficient pressure, manual water pump or air pump can be used to increase the pressure for better inspection results. The leakage signal is a continuous vibration signal that always exists. If the signal is sometimes absent when detected, the monitoring point is not a leakage point.

sensor 1 (with cable and plug)
Soundproof earphones 1 pair
charger 1 piece
rechargeable battery 2 units (18650 rechargeable lithium battery with charging protection)
suspenders 1 piece
instrument case 1 piece
Instruction manual and warranty card 1 copy
Basic usage method
Firstly, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack of the host, and insert the headphones into the headphone jack of the host.
Turn on the host power
1. Check if the 18650 rechargeable lithium battery is fully charged. (When there is power, the work light displays green. If it displays red, it indicates low power and needs to be charged.)
2. Rotate the volume knob clockwise and hear a ticking sound when the power is turned on. The red circle light on the mute button in the middle lights up, and the LCD screen displays the startup message: "Pipeline leak detector",
Turn off the power of the host
1. Rotate the volume knob counterclockwise to the power off position to turn off the device.
When the instrument battery is almost depleted, the low power indicator light will turn red and automatically shut down.
Basic steps for leak detection
After turning on the device, first adjust the volume to as low as possible, turn the filtering gear knob to the fourth gear, then put on the headphones and place the sensor at the desired detection location.
2. Press the middle mute button without letting go, slowly adjust the volume knob and display knob to the appropriate size, and start monitoring whether there is a leakage signal at the monitoring point. Be careful not to move or rub after placing the sensor to avoid noise interference.
3. Release the mute button to end this detection point, place the sensor at the next monitoring point, repeat step 2 to continue until a leakage signal is detected, and accurately locate the point.
