Introduction to Online Monitoring System

The online monitoring system for batteries has been upgraded based on the inspection instrument product, adding the function of detecting the internal resistance and temperature of individual batteries to ensure stable operation of the batteries. The online monitoring system consists of the main module of the inspection instrument, the single battery detection module, and the current acquisition module.


Main module of inspection instrument

The main module of the inspection instrument can read voltage, current, internal resistance, and battery cell temperature values one by one from the single battery detection module, and analyze, process, and display them. One inspection instrument main module can monitor up to six groups of batteries, totaling 960 batteries.


Single battery detection module

The single battery detection module can monitor the voltage, internal resistance, and temperature of a single battery, and upload the data to the main module of the inspection instrument through the communication port. The single battery detection module itself does not have alarm judgment function. The single battery detection module is powered by a battery, with a maximum power of less than 0.15W for a 2V module and less than 0.25W for a 12V module.

Each battery cell needs to be equipped with a single cell detection module, which can be directly attached to the surface of the battery when installed with the module.


Current acquisition module

The current acquisition module can monitor the charging and discharging current of a group of batteries and an ambient temperature, which can be achieved through

The UART port communicates with the main module, and a set of batteries requires a current acquisition module to be configured.




Main module of inspection instrument

Read the battery voltage, internal resistance, temperature values, and battery pack current measured by each single battery detection module during the round robin inspection;

Equipped with LCD display, it can query real-time monitoring data and historical alarm records;

Can set upper and lower limits and operating parameters;

Automatic alarm function, when an alarm is triggered, the LED light will light up, the buzzer will sound, and the corresponding dry contact will close;

Equipped with an RS485 port and a network, it can be connected to the upper computer.


Single battery detection module

Working temperature: -5 ℃ to 50 ℃;

Relative humidity: 5% to 90%;

Atmospheric pressure: 80-110kPa;

2V and 12V batteries with a capacity of less than 2000AH (different detection modules need to be selected according to the battery voltage).

Group voltage: 20-800V, ± (0.5%+0.2V) Individual voltage: 1.5-2.5V, ± (0.1%+1mV); 9~15V,±(0.1%+10mV);

Internal resistance of individual battery: 100-65535u Ω

± (2%+3 u Ω) (2V battery, repeatability)

± (2%+30u Ω) (6V, 12V batteries, repeatability)

The resolution is 3 u Ω;

Internal temperature of battery: 5 ℃~+50 ℃, ± 1.5 ℃.


Current acquisition module

Charge and discharge current: 0-500A (optional), ± 2% (maximum range);

Environmental temperature: -5 ℃ to+70 ℃, ± 0.5 ℃;
