M-SED type directional valve is an electromagnetic shut-off directional valve used to control the flow, stop, and direction of oil.

Its composition mainly includes a valve body (1), an electromagnet (2), and a closing component (4).

Manual emergency operation (6) can operate the valve when the electromagnet is not powered. Basic functions:

The setting of spring (5) determines the initial position of the valve. When the power is cut off, the "UK" type valve is in the open state, while the "CK" type valve is in the closed state. The valve chamber (3) located behind the closing element (4) is connected to the oil port P and is sealed and isolated from the oil port T. Therefore, the valve is in a pressure equilibrium state relative to the operating force (electromagnet and spring).

Due to the special closure element (4), this valve can be used at working pressures up to 350 bar at ports P, A, and T, and can pass through flow in both directions (see mechanical symbol)!

In the initial position, the closing element (4) is pressed against the valve seat (11) by the spring (5), and in the switching position, the electromagnet (2) pushes it towards the valve seat (7). In this way, a leak free seal is achieved.
