BDY-01 Whiteness MeterIt is a specialized instrument for measuring the whiteness of objects. Widely used for measuring the whiteness of objects such as paper and cardboard, textile printing and dyeing, paint and coatings, chemical building materials, plastic products, cement, calcium carbonate powder, ceramics, enamel, porcelain clay, starch, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics, etc.

Test Principle

The instrument uses an integrating sphere to measure spectral diffuse reflectance. The light emitted by a tungsten halogen lamp is converted into blue purple light through a condenser and a color filter, entering the integrating sphere. After diffuse reflection on the inner wall of the integrating sphere, the light is directed onto the sample at the testing port. The light reflected by the sample is received by a silicon photovoltaic cell after passing through a condenser and a light barrier filter group, and converted into an electrical signal. There is also a silicon photovoltaic cell that receives the substrate signal inside the sphere. The two electrical signals are amplified, mixed, and the measurement results are displayed digitally.
