At present, the requirements for environmental air quality are becoming increasingly high. Resulting in an increase in the usage of dehumidification systems to control the quality of air emissions. Chlorine storage equipment and chemical plants often need to clean their discharge systems to remove halogens and acid gases. However, monitoring the concentration of reactive gases in wet saturated gas flow can cause many problems for standard diffusion probes, as condensed water in gas delivery pipelines can quickly block the diffusion probes, making them unable to function properly. ATI's SeriesB12 moisture system has been developed specifically to address these issues, providing reliable measurement data in gas emissions with saturated water vapor. The system can be used to detect strong oxidants (chlorine, bromide, chlorine dioxide, or ozone), acid gases, and hydrogen gases.
The basic B12 moisture detection system includes a 2-wire transmitter powered by a loop and a corrosion-resistant sensing probe specifically designed for 100% RH. The probe can be inserted into the discharge pipe or installed in the distributor. The sample gas needs to flow through the probe.
When remote display and alarm relays are required, the B12 moisture system can provide direct digital display of gas concentration and 4-20mA output of the transmitter. B12 can also be connected to DCS, PLC or other devices. In short, B12 is a solution to detection problems.
