Principle of Fiber Laser:

Fiber lasers are mainly composed of pump sources, couplers, rare earth element doped fibers, resonant cavities, and other components. The pump source is composed of one or more high-power laser diode arrays, and the pump light emitted by them is coupled into a rare earth element doped fiber as a gain medium through a special pump structure. Photons at the pump wavelength are absorbed by the doped fiber medium, forming a particle number reversal. The excited emitted light waves are fed back and oscillated by the resonant cavity mirror to form laser output.
