Collect and store data at intervals of 1nm, 2nm, or 5nm. The software calculates the Monochromatic Protection Factor (MPF) for each selected wavelength and calculates the SPF value using preset (easily modifiable) solar irradiance and erythema constant.

Sample processing and supporting media:

·Liquid, cream and gel samples can be applied to molded sand blasted PMMA plates or other substrates by "spot coating".

·For complex samples such as spray, Solar Light can provide quartz plates as test carriers.

This board contains optical filters measured by SPF-290AS, which can be compared with NIST traceable factory standards to ensure reliable operation and help users avoid unnecessary testing or maintenance costs.
