1、 Overview of HY-IV artificial board scratch tester equipment:
The HY-IV scratch tester for artificial boards is carefully designed and manufactured by our company in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T15102 "Impregnated Film Paper Decorative Artificial Boards" and GB/T17657 "Test Methods for Physical and Chemical Properties of Artificial Boards and Decorative Artificial Boards". This tester is suitable for testing the scratch resistance of various artificial boards and decorative artificial board surfaces. This instrument adopts a high speed ratio and high output torque gear reducer to ensure constant turntable speed under different test loads, resulting in high accuracy of test results. All components of the scratch tester produced by our company are installed in a wooden box with a handle, which has the characteristics of compact structure, small appearance, and easy portability.
2、 The main structure of HY-IV artificial board scratch tester is:
The HY-IV artificial board scratch tester uses the lever principle. When the upper edge of the scale is in a horizontal position, the weight above the scale can be moved to different scale values to make the force of the diamond scratch needle on the surface of the tested board match the scale value. The scale shaft is supported by ball bearings, which allows for flexible rotation and reduces friction torque, thereby ensuring good repeatability of the pressure applied to the tip of the diamond marking needle and guaranteeing good repeatability of the test results.

4、 Operation steps of HY-IV artificial board scratch tester:
1. Preparation before the experiment: (see Figure 1)
(1) Place the instrument on a stable and flat test bench, with the operator facing the instrument, and then open the wooden packaging box of the instrument.
(2) Loosen the fixing screw of the sliding rod; Take out the ruler slider (with scale) and ruler support rod (without scale) from the attachment box, and insert them into the holes on the left and right sides of the ruler bracket respectively (insert the flat end of the ruler slider into the hole); When the entire circle of engraved lines at the end of the ruler slider is just exposed from behind the ruler bracket, tighten the fixing screw of the slider to fix the ruler slider, and the ruler support rod can slide freely in the hole.
(3) Remove the ruler from the ruler bracket, with the graduated side facing the operator. Align the bearing hole in the middle of the ruler with the ruler slider and insert it into the hole.
(4) Lift the right end of the ruler, pull out the ruler support rod, lower the ruler, and place the ruler on the ruler support rod. (As shown in the cover image)
(5) Take out the diamond cutting needle, insert it into the hole in the center of the protrusion on the ruler, and fix it with the fastening screw on the right side.
(6) Insert the power plug into the power outlet located on the wall and turn on the power.
2. Run:
(1) Process the board to be tested to the standard size (thickness not exceeding 10mm), and drill a hole of 7mm at its center position.
(2) Unscrew the fixing nut of the test piece, remove the test piece pressure plate, place the processed test plate with the tested surface facing upwards on the test piece turntable, thread the center hole through the center screw, place the test piece pressure plate, and tighten the test piece fixing nut.
(3) Push in the ruler support rod, lower the ruler, and make the tip of the diamond marking needle on the surface of the test plate.
(4) Loosen the screw of the ruler bracket.
(5) Rotate the ruler adjustment screw and adjust the ruler to a horizontal position. (Observe the level at the top of the weight so that the bubble is between the two engraved lines in the center, and the ruler is in a horizontal position.)
(6) Tighten the screws of the ruler bracket.
(7) Loosen the weight screw, move the weight to the desired load scale * (align the right edge of the weight with the scale), and tighten the weight screw.
(8) Press and hold the start button for 2 seconds, and the test piece turntable will start rotating. After one revolution, it will stop. Remove the test piece and observe the scratches on its surface.
(9) After all experiments are completed, remove the parts of this instrument and put them back in their original positions. Cover the wooden box cover to protect the cleanliness of this instrument.
Note: The specific load size should be executed in accordance with the provisions of Article 6.3.10.4.2 of GB/T 15102-94, or in accordance with the relevant provisions of the enterprise standard for the board.
