Armored thermocouple cable

Armored thermocouple cable, commonly known as armored wire, also known as inorganic insulated thermocouple cable internationally, is a solid whole made of stainless steel protective tube, magnesium oxide insulation powder, thermocouple wire material combined and compacted by mold. It has the advantages of pressure resistance, earthquake resistance, flexibility, miniaturization, and fast thermal response time, and is the core material for manufacturing armored thermocouples.

Product standards

1. Low cost metal armored thermocouple cables comply with JB/T 8205-1999 and GB/T 18404-2001

2. Precious metal armored thermocouple cables comply with JB/T 8909-1999

3. Armored Platinum Rhodium 30-Platinum Rhodium 8 Thermocouple Cable Execution QB/T 2405-2004

Thermoelectric characteristics and tolerances

Armored thermocouples made of different types of armored thermocouple cables should comply with GB/T 16839.1-1997 "Thermocouples Part 1: Scale Table" when the reference end is 0 ℃, and the allowable tolerances for different grades should comply with the provisions of Table 1-3.

insulation resistance

The insulation resistance should be measured between the wires and between the wires and the outer sleeve. For cables with an outer diameter ≤ 1.5mm, the voltage used is 75 ± 25Vd. c, and for cables with an outer diameter>1.5mm, the voltage used is 500 ± 50Vd. c. The insulation resistance per meter at room temperature and high temperature shall comply with the provisions of Table 1-4.

pourAfter consultation between the supply and demand parties, armored thermocouple cables of other materials and outer diameters can be provided.
