Armored thermistor cable:
Armored thermocouple cables, the armored thermocouple cables supplied by our company have undergone sufficient moisture removal in a constant temperature box above 200 ℃, and both ends are sealed with epoxy resin to ensure that the insulation resistance of the cables meets the requirements of Table 1-4.
When manufacturing armored thermocouples with armored thermocouple cables, it is generally necessary to cut them into multiple sections, causing the magnesium oxide insulation powder to be exposed to the air. Magnesium oxide powder has strong moisture absorption, which inevitably leads to a large amount of moisture from the air entering the magnesium oxide, causing a decrease in insulation resistance and affecting the accuracy of high-temperature measurements. Therefore, we recommend that in the process of making armored thermocouples, after the hot end is sealed and the measuring wire is peeled off from the cold end, the entire thermocouple should be placed in a constant temperature box at 200-250 ℃ for 12-24 hours to remove moisture (for thermocouple cables with a length of less than one meter, the temperature and time can be reduced accordingly), and then quickly removed and sealed with epoxy resin. Unused armored thermocouple cables should also be immediately sealed with epoxy resin for future use.
Armored thermistor cable:
Armored thermal resistance cable is a solid whole made of stainless steel protective tube, magnesium oxide insulation powder, pure nickel wire or pure silver wire combined and compacted by a mold (armored thermal resistance cable made of pure nickel wire is commonly known as armored pure nickel wire). It has the advantages of voltage resistance, earthquake resistance, flexibility, miniaturization, and fast thermal response time. It is a lead material for manufacturing armored thermal resistance.
