AreaRAE Gamma Area Gas and Ray Composite Monitor【 PGM-5520 】 Introduction:
AreaRAE Gamma is a composite gas and radiation detector that enables real-time data communication with remote control base stations through wireless RF modems, transmitting detection information from sensors, and more.
AreaRAE Gamma can be powered by rechargeable lithium batteries or optional alkaline batteries during standalone operation, with a continuous working time of up to 24 hours. It is sturdy and durable, and can withstand various harsh weather conditions. In addition, AreaRAE Gamma is a "package" composite gas detector that is compatible with radiation sensors for detecting Gamma rays, photoionization detectors (PID) for detecting ppm level volatile organic compounds (VOCs), combustible gas sensors, oxygen sensors, and optional electrochemical sensors for detecting toxic gases.
By using RF modems, AreaRAE Gamma can achieve real-time data transmission with control base stations within a distance of 2 miles (3.2km). The control base station is usually one personal computer. The standard ProRAE Remote, as the system control software for AreaRAE Gamma, can monitor 32 remote detectors.
Since its launch, this instrument has almost become a must-have product for security work at world sports events, and has been successfully applied in large-scale gathering venues such as football matches, Beijing Olympic Games, and North American rugby matches.
