The packed column used for the determination of sulfides in the air is usually combined with a gas chromatograph equipped with a flame photometric detector (FPD) or a sulfur chemiluminescence detector (SCD) to form the classic GC-FPD/SCD method.

This type of method is commonly used to determine trace sulfides in ambient air, odor sources, natural gas, or industrial waste gases, such as hydrogen sulfide (H ₂ S), methyl mercaptan (CH ∝ SH), methyl sulfide (DMS, (CH ∝) ₂ S), carbon disulfide (CS ₂), dimethyl disulfide ether (DMDS, (CH ∝ S) ₂), etc.

Thank you for purchasing the chromatography column produced by Haohan

Each chromatographic column provided by Haohan has been aged, and for the analysis and separation effect you have obtained, please age it for another 1-2 hours before use. When aging, the carrier gas should be introduced for about 10 minutes first, and after the air inside the column is completely replaced, the temperature should be raised to the operating temperature using a program for aging.

To avoid contamination of the detector, please do not connect the chromatography column to the detector during aging.

When the temperature of the column box is higher than room temperature, a small amount of oxygen in the carrier gas will damage the stationary phase inside the chromatographic column. The carrier gas must be further deoxygenated using a deoxygenation tube (it is recommended that the oxygen content in the carrier gas used should not exceed 1PPm)
