• Product ingredients：Each liter of culture medium contains 5g of peptone, 10g of lactose, 8.5g of bovine bile salt, 8.5g of sodium citrate, 16g of agar, 5g of beef extract powder, 8.5g of sodium thiosulfate, 1g of ammonium iron citrate, 0.025g of neutral red, 0.00033g of bright green, and a pH value of 7.2 ± 0.2 (25 ℃).

• Testing principle：Peptone and beef extract powder provide carbon sources, nitrogen sources, vitamins, and minerals; Lactose is a fermentable sugar; Bile salts, sodium citrate, and bright green inhibit Gram positive bacteria, most Escherichia coli, and Proteobacteria, but do not affect the growth of Salmonella; Sodium thiosulfate and ammonium iron citrate are used to detect the production of hydrogen sulfide, causing the center of the colony to appear black; Neutral red serves as a pH indicator. Bacteria that ferment sugar to produce acid appear red, while bacteria that do not ferment sugar appear colorless; Agar is a coagulant for culture media.

• Usage：Weigh 62.5 grams of this product and add it to 1000ml of distilled water. Heat and boil until fully dissolved and sterilized. Cool to 60 ℃ and pour into a sterilized petri dish for later use.
