When testing the wear resistance and crushing resistance of granular activated carbon, the screened and weighed activated carbon samples are placed in a strength test disk with stainless steel balls. After being subjected to a combination of rotation and impact for 30 minutes, the mass of carbon retained on the lower two levels of the sieve corresponding to the lower limit size of the sample particle size distribution is measured. The mass percentage is calculated as the strength of the sample, and the strength data is calculated according to the calculation method specified by national standards.

It consists of a tapping vibration machine (with a built-in timer), a particle size test bottom screen (according to user requirements), a strength test screen (according to user requirements), a strength test plate (aluminum bronze), steel balls (15 each with a diameter of 12.7 mm and 9.5 mm), a balance (sensitivity of 0.1g), a brush, an electric constant temperature drying oven, a measuring cylinder (200mL), etc.
