Overview

The detection of inhaled allergens by ingestion is based on immunological principles, using a protein microarray matrix to encapsulate specific antigens onto nitrocellulose membranes, capturing the binding of specific antibodies in serum, and then tracing the specific antibodies by labeling them with peroxidase catalyzed substrates on secondary antibodies. Spot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a method that utilizes immunological principles to encapsulate specific antigens onto nitrocellulose membranes through a protein microarray matrix, capturing the binding of specific antibodies in serum, and then tracing the specific antibodies by labeling them with peroxidase catalyzed substrates on secondary antibodies. Used for qualitative detection of allergen specific IgE antibodies in human serum. The test items can include: house dust mite, mugwort, dwarf ragweed, cockroach, fungal combination (Penicillium punctatum, Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus fumigatus, Mycosporus), cat fur crumbs, dog fur crumbs, house dust, tree pollen (oak, elm, wutong, willow, poplar), dandelion pollen, cotton wool, humulus, mulberry, grass pollen (Juniper graminearum, ryegrass, terracotta grass), silk CCD; Milk, egg white, peanuts, crab, mango, beef, shrimp, lamb, wheat, cod, soybeans, mixed nuts (cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts), shellfish, pineapple, tomatoes, total IgE.
