4Single vertical combustion testing machineOperating procedures for use
1. Connect the air pipe to the air inlet of the box and check the air duct interface to prevent air leakage
2. Connect the gas pipe to the gas inlet of the box, check the air duct interface to prevent air leakage
3. Turn on the power switch
4. Experimental parameter settings: The combustion time and experimental angle adjustment settings are set according to the experimental standards.
5. Fix the test sample on the sample holder.
6. Open the main valve of the gas cylinder to connect the gas source, press the "start" button, adjust the gas pressure adjustment knob (if the pressure gauge is turned up at this time, adjust the flow meter knob to open a little, and then adjust the pressure adjustment knob) and the flow meter knob to the standard specified value (gas pressure is usually 0.06-0.1Mpa, gas flow rate: 650 ± 30mL/min, which is 0.65L ± 0.03L/min). Press the 'Start' button to ignite.
7. Turn on the air compressor, insert the air pipe into the air quick plug, adjust the air pressure adjustment knob and flow meter knob to the standard specified value.
(Air pressure: 0.1Mpa, air flow rate: 10 ± 0.3L/min, actual pressure and flow adjustment subject to flame height: blue flame core height 50-60mm, outer flame height 170-190mm)
Adjust the flame height according to the test requirements: fine tune the air and gas flow rates separately to make the flame meet the test requirements. Without replacing the gas source and pipeline, it is generally not necessary to turn off the pressure gauge and flow meter after adjusting the air and gas pressure and flow rate. The next test can be directly ignited.
After the set time combustion test is completed, the "start" button will pop up, disconnect the gas, and the flame will automatically extinguish.
8. Adjust the blowtorch to a position at a 45 degree angle to the horizontal direction, facing the test sample directly. The length of the cable sample is 600 ± 25mm.
9. Press the "start" button, the blowtorch will ignite, and the timer will start counting.
When repeating the experiment, the above steps can be repeated.
11. After the experiment is completed, close the main valve and reset all components.
5Single vertical combustion testing machineMaintenance and Precautions
1. The gas tank should have a pressure reducing valve, and the main valve should be reliably closed and opened.
2. During the combustion test, there should be two people present for operation. One person is responsible for the sample test operation, and the other is responsible for supervision. Before the test, check whether there is any air leakage in the gas pipe road. If necessary, open the pneumatic box to check whether the joints and gas pipes are sealed to avoid accidents. During the test, the responsible supervisor approaches the main valve of the gas tank, closes the main valve in a timely manner if any abnormal phenomenon is found, and investigates the cause. After the test is completed, the main valve must be tightly closed.
3. The test chamber should be installed in a test cabinet that is not subject to air convection but can be naturally ventilated. During the test, air flow should be prevented to avoid backfire of the burner. At the end of the experiment, start the fan to remove the smoke.
4. The input power supply is AC220V ± 10%, and a three pole socket with a ground wire should be used to ensure reliable grounding.
When using electric control, the burner must be controlled to return to its original position by a time relay after the time has elapsed.
6. The laboratory should be equipped with fire-fighting equipment. Regularly check the gas circuit.
7. Pay attention to personal safety: If the gas is not ignited immediately after being connected, close the box door and turn on the exhaust fan to exhaust (remove the gas from the outside). Otherwise, if there is too much gas in the test box and it ignites, it may cause personal injury.
