1、 Purpose:
Aggregate anti polishing performance testing machineSuitable for simulating the polishing effect of car tires on road surfaces indoors, by accelerating the polishing of the aggregates used on the road surface, the anti polishing performance of the aggregates can be measured, providing scientific basis for selecting suitable surface aggregates to pave road sections with different friction coefficient requirements and for the rational development and utilization of stone resources. This creates conditions for shortening the research cycle of anti-skid road surfaces and provides technical reference for the development of high-quality artificial aggregates. The accelerated polishing machine of this model is manufactured in accordance with the national industry standard JTG 3432-2024 "Code for Testing of Aggregates in Highway Engineering" T0321-2024 technical standard, and draws on the advantages of similar foreign models. The overall structure is compact, the sand flow is uniform and accurate, and it is an ideal model to replace imported similar products.
2、 Structure
1. Transmission mechanism: including motor, pulley, rubber wheel assembly, etc., used to transmit power and change speed ratio.
2. Road wheel device: used for installing 14 test specimens.
3. Sand flow device: composed of a sand storage hopper, a speed regulating motor, a sand flow belt, a bracket, etc., used for storing abrasives and controlling the flow rate of sand.
4. Water supply system: including water storage brackets, water supply vessels, flow meters, and water pipes, used to control water volume.
5. Load adjustment mechanism: including handwheel and cam, used to support the counterweight and adjust the pressure between the rubber wheel and the road.
6. Weighting device: including lever, counterweight, and sheath, used to ensure the specified pressure on the road wheel.
7. Trial molds, trial mold covers, and trial mold fixtures are used to make polished stone specimens.
8. Electrical control device: used to control the required number of rotations and working time of road wheels.

Among them, the marked C rubber wheel is used for grinding coarse sand, and the marked X rubber wheel is used for grinding fine powder.

4、 Installation and testing
Aggregate anti polishing performance testing machineIt should be installed on a solid and stable cement concrete foundation and fixed with foot bolts. After installation, the horizontal position should be calibrated with a regular level first, and then the nut should be tightened.
After installation, install the test piece on the road wheel, connect the 380V power supply, turn on the power switch on the controller panel, and then press the start button. Rotate the load adjustment handwheel to slowly press the rubber wheel towards the road wheel, and check whether the road wheel is running normally. Adjust the gate of coarse and fine sand, check whether the feeding and loading rotate smoothly, and whether there is any abnormal noise. Then, the coarse and fine sand are separately loaded into the hopper, and the slip amount of the coarse and fine sand is determined by the gate. After adjustment, the position can be determined, and there is no need to adjust it again for the next test.
Install test piece
Using 12 pre molded specimens (2 specimens of 6 different types of stone), conduct two rounds of testing. Assign adjacent numbers to one type of aggregate, with standard specimens numbered 13 and 14. In each round, two specimens of the same type of stone are grouped into six groups in the order of 1-12. After arranging the other two standard specimens and the two specimens of the six groups of stones in the order of 1-14, install them on the road wheel at the positions specified in the table below.
Attention: Install standard specimens at positions 1 and 8 for each round.
During installation, a piece of asbestos gasket with a thickness of 1mm should be added between every two test pieces to simulate the cross-section of the test piece mold, but slightly lower than the height of the test piece by 1mm. Depending on the specific situation, this gasket can also be omitted or added excessively. Then tighten the outer end plate screws. Use a wooden mallet to strike the end plate while tightening all screws to prevent the specimen from breaking or loosening during the polishing process.
Removal and replacement of rubber wheels
When the rubber wheel is excessively worn during the polishing experiment, it must be replaced. Before using the new rubber wheel, initial wear should be carried out. On the road wheel with the test piece installed, the C wheel should be pre ground with coarse diamond sand, and the X wheel should be pre ground with fine diamond sand for 6 hours before being put into normal testing.
When replacing the rubber wheel, remove the rubber wheel cover, then rotate and pull out the rubber wheel screw. Use your hand to remove the waste rubber wheel from the adjustment arm, replace it with a new one, and then install the rubber wheel axle and rubber wheel cover again.

Precautions
1. Check the power supply before starting up, and use 380V AC power as the supply voltage.
2. During the polishing process, pay attention to moisture prevention of the entire machine to avoid damaging the motor. In the event of a sudden power outage, please do not turn off the power switch and reset button on the panel to avoid losing the speed display record.
3. During the experiment, it is necessary to follow the correct steps to avoid losing the speed display record.
4. When installing the instrument, attention should be paid to the free and undisturbed rotation of the rubber wheel and road wheel, and the radial position deviation of the two wheels should not exceed 0.08mm to ensure the uniformity of polishing.
5. During the polishing process, pay attention to controlling the water flow rate and avoid excessive flow, which may cause poor sand sliding and retention in the groove.
6. If the specimen is found to be loose or broken, the specimen and asbestos gasket should be replaced in a timely manner.
7. Timely remove accumulated sand, do not cut off water during testing, and add water to the water supply vessel in a timely manner.
8. When not conducting the experiment, the load adjustment handwheel should be rotated to raise the lever, and there should be no load on the rubber wheel to prevent deformation and affect the polishing.
9. At the end of each experiment, it is necessary to clean the accumulated sand, wipe it clean, and apply lubricating oil to the road wheel axle and synchronous belt wheel axle.
