    MT-120 agate milk bowl micro powder grinder, with simple operation and grinding fineness up to micrometer level. It replaces the heavy manual grinding of traditional mortars, freeing hands and saving time, and the grinding effect far exceeds manual grinding. The control system independently developed by the company accurately controls the speed of the grinding rod and the grinding time. It is a laboratory equipment for grinding micro powders.

    1、 Working principle
    1. The solid particles that are ground and processed are coarse in size and placed in an agate mortar;
    2. The bottom of the agate mortar is a hemisphere, hard, nai polished, and very smooth. The agate mortar is driven by a slow speed reduction motor to rotate on its own;
    3. The head of the agate grinding stick is also a hemisphere, and the centerline of the grinding stick intersects with the centerline of the mortar at a suitable oblique angle. The grinding rod is inserted into the mortar, and a compression spring is installed inside the rod. The rod head is tightly attached to the bottom of the mortar under the action of the spring. The research rod is driven by a high-speed deceleration motor to rotate in a manner similar to the trajectory of a conical body.
    4. The mortar and pestle, each with its own motion, form a clever crushing and grinding method for coarse particles.
    5. Due to the grinding motion formed by agate mortar and grinding rod, the grinding opportunities for solid particles are equal, and the particle size of micro powder is very uniform. The grinding time is set according to the needs and automatically controlled. 6. After a reasonable time period of grinding, coarse particles are ground into very fine micro particles, with particle sizes reaching the micrometer level and some reaching the nanometer level.

    4Precautions

    7.1Special care should be taken during the use of agate bowls and pestles to avoid grinding materials with excessive hardness (Mohs hardness greater than 7.5 is not allowed) and to avoid contact with hydrofluoric acid.

    7.2When performing grinding operations, the grinding machine should be fixed on a horizontal workbench,The diameter of the ground solid should not exceed 2mmParticles exceeding the specified diameter can damage the mortar, pestle, or splash solids. Explosive substances cannot be ground. When grinding substances that are corrosive to the skin, a plastic sheet should be placed on top of the mortar, and then a hole should be opened in the center to insert a pestle before grinding. The amount of solid in the mortar should not exceed one-third of its volume.

    7.3The mortar cannot be heated and should not be dried in an electric oven.

    7.4When washing a mortar, it should be rinsed with water first, and acid resistant mortar can be washed. When difficult to wash substances adhere to the mortar, a small amount of salt can be added, ground, and then washed.

    7.5When the agate mortar comes into contact with the agate grinding rod, the pre pressing depth should not exceed 3 millimeters (with a pre pressing amount of 0 to 0.5 millimeters). If the pre pressing depth exceeds 3 millimeters, the grinding rod or mortar may break or burn out the motor.For example, when grinding particles with a diameter of 2 millimeters, intermittent grinding sounds will be generated when the grinding rod first comes into contact with the particles. When continuous grinding sounds occur and the grinding sound decreases, fine tune and apply pressure downwards until intermittent grinding sounds appear. Repeat this process until continuous grinding sounds appear. At this point, there is no need to continue applying pressure downwards and maintain the grinding time until the requirements are met.

    7.6The distance for the agate grinding rod to rise or fall is 4mm when the handwheel rotates once.
