The AWA6011 piston sounder is a standard sound source capable of producing specified sound pressure levels and frequencies, mainly used for calibrating sound pressure sensitivity of microphones and acoustic measuring instruments. The characteristic of a piston sounder is that its nominal operating frequency of 250 Hz is located in the flat part of the microphone frequency response, and the calibrated sound pressure level for both the sound pressure microphone and the free field microphone is the same; And the sound pressure level is very stable. Its disadvantage is that the sound pressure level varies with the air pressure (altitude), so it is necessary to correct the sound pressure level according to the air pressure at the workplace. For convenience, the AWA6011 piston sounder integrates a digital air pressure sensor internally, which can accurately measure the ambient air pressure and provide correction value data for sound pressure correction. The performance of AWA6011 meets the technical requirements of GB/T 15173-2010 LS/C level and IEC 60942:2017 Class LS/M for sound calibrators. The performance of AWA6012 meets the technical requirements of GB/T 15173-20101/C level and IEC 60942:2017 Class 1/M for sound calibrators.
