Overview

The DSP-FCI portable dew point meter adopts an integral flow control valve to reduce the pressure of high-pressure sample gas (up to 20 barg) to atmospheric pressure before passing it into the drying chamber unit. In addition, the integral flow meter based on sample gas division can control the flow rate of air, sulfur hexafluoride, and any other gas.

DSP-FCI is an independent set of portable dew point meters produced by AlphaMoisture Systems, providing the most reliable industrial and laboratory dew point measurements. ModelDSP FCI is designed with users as the starting point and is very convenient to use. The digital dewSMARTTM technology ensures accurate and reliable readings during long-term use, with minimal or no maintenance required. By combining stainless steel quick connect fittings and drying chambers, rapid measurement has been achieved, saving time and cost.

Corrosive gases:

Sensors should not be exposed to corrosive gases (or corrosive impurities in the main sample gas), as they will react with corrosive gases and cause sensor failure.

Corrosive gases include mercury vapor, ammonia vapor, chlorine gas, and wet acidic vapor (such as acidic vapor in gases with humidity exceeding 100ppm (v)). Sensors should also avoid contact with strong oxides such as ozone.

The DSP-FCI portable dew point meter has 6 different ranges, forming an overall measurement range of -110~+20 ℃ (DP); There are multiple display units to choose from: ℃, ℉ ppb(v)、ppm(v)、ppm(w)、g/m3、lb/MMSCF。 Except for those pre-set (air, argon, hydrogen, sulfur hexafluoride, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen), ppm (W) units can be set for other gases by simply inputting the molecular weight of the tested gas.

This instrument is easy to carry and use, making it an ideal choice for measuring the moisture content in air or other gases during sampling inspections.

The interchangeable dewSMARTTM sensor ensures that after replacing the sensor, there is no need to return the entire dew point meter to the factory for recalibration and setting, and it remains accurate and reliable.

The battery of DSP-FCI dew point instrument has been installed before leaving the factory, and the manufacturer provides a calibration certificate that conforms to the (British) national and humidity standards, a two meter long Fried Dough Twists shaped stainless steel sampling hose, an operation manual and an optional sturdy portable box. The instrument can be used after it reaches the user.

In order to achieve rapid sampling measurement, it is necessary to keep the measuring sensor drier than the sample gas to be tested. The design purpose of the drying chamber is here. Through the drying chamber, when the instrument is not in use, the sensor is surrounded by a desiccant; Only when in use, is it exposed to the sample gas. At any stage, the sensor must not come into contact with the ambient air.
