The TEOST MHT method is a high-temperature deposit assessment method developed by Chrysler for simulating engine oil at moderate temperatures. This method simulates the oil working conditions in the piston ring area of the engine and is used to predict the deposition trend of engine oil in the piston ring and piston crown areas. It has a good correlation with the TU3MPeugeot engine test for evaluating deposit production, and the test results reflect the high-temperature cleanliness of the oil to a certain extent.
