5000 kg weight/M1 pure cast iron material weight manufacturer
Now we mainly produce weights according to OIML R111 and ASTM standards, with specifications ranging from 1mg-2000kg. The standards we follow are OIML R111-2004 and ASTM E-617. The levels of OIML R111 are E1, E2, F1, F2, M1. ASTM grades: Class0, Class1, Class2, Class3, Class4, Class5, Class6, Class7.
Weights are physical measuring tools that reproduce a given mass value in a fixed form, with strict regulations on their structural characteristics (shape, size, material, surface quality, etc.) and metrological characteristics (nominal value, tolerance, etc.). Only with the help of scales or scales can the mass of an object be determined. The nominal value of weights is usually taken as a series of 1 × 10k, 2 × 10k, and 5 × 10k, where K is a positive integer, negative integer, or zero.
According to the different accuracies and purposes of weights, the weights used for calibration or verification of weighing instruments with high accuracy, as well as the weights used for value transfer in the laboratory, are usually referred to as working weights, standard weights, and reference weights; The weights directly used on site to determine the mass of the object being weighed are called working weights. OIML divides weights into seven levels: E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2, and M3, and provides detailed regulations on their uses, tolerances, structural shapes, materials, and processing requirements.

Protection methods for cast iron weights.
The warehouse where the weights should be placed should be clean, dry, with a certain temperature and humidity.
The second is that when storing weights, wooden boards should be placed at the bottom and covered with cloth or film at the top to prevent direct contact with the ground and moisture and rust.
The third is to do a good job in daily inspection and maintenance, and regularly observe and record Daily maintenance and upkeep are more important than one-time maintenance, to prevent the further spread of rust on the surface of the weights. To wipe the rust, use cotton yarn dipped in engine oil repeatedly until the surface is shiny.
Regularly check the accuracy of the weights, use a higher precision balance to weigh the processed weights, calculate the reduced mass, unscrew the screws on the weights, make up for it with tin wire, and then tighten the screws to prevent the weights from being inaccurate during use.
During the production process, the surface of cast iron weights needs to be smooth and flat, without obvious sand holes, scars, or other surface irregularities to avoid dust accumulation. The edges and corners of the weights also need to be rounded to prevent wear and tear. At the same time, in order to prevent oxidation and corrosion of cast iron weights, it is necessary to treat the surface of the weights with anti-corrosion paint. The surface of cast iron weights needs to be engraved with words indicating the weight of the weight, and some also need to cast the weight number. The engraved words should be clear and beautiful.
As for the grades of cast iron weights, there are M1 grade, M2 grade, and M3 grade for weights weighing less than 50kg, and M1 grade, M12 grade, M2 grade, M23 grade, and M3 grade for weights weighing more than 50kg. Currently, M1 grade is the main grade in the market, and people can choose according to their needs when purchasing
