304 stainless steel explosion-proof box shell OMEIntroduction of
Stainless steel refers to steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, and water, as well as chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt. It is also known as stainless acid resistant steel. Stainless steel is a type of steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water, or has non rusting properties; Steel grades that are resistant to chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt are called acid resistant steel. Due to the difference in chemical composition between the two, the former may not be resistant to chemical corrosion, while the latter generally has non rusting properties. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel depends on the alloy elements contained in the steel.
Usually, according to the metallographic structure, ordinary stainless steel is divided into three categories: austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel, and martensitic stainless steel. On the basis of these three basic metallographic structures, dual phase steel, precipitation hardening stainless steel, and high alloy steel with iron content less than 50% have been derived for specific needs and purposes.
Divided by metallographic structure: 01 austenitic stainless steel. The matrix is mainly composed of austenite structure (CY phase) with face centered cubic crystal structure, which is non-magnetic and mainly strengthened by cold processing (and may lead to certain magnetism) in stainless steel. The American Iron and Steel Institute uses numbers from the 200 and 300 series, such as 304. 02 ferritic stainless steel.
The matrix is mainly composed of ferrite structure (phase a) with a body centered cubic crystal structure, which is magnetic and generally cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but cold working can slightly strengthen it in stainless steel. The American Iron and Steel Institute uses 430 and 446 as symbols. 03 Martensitic stainless steel. Stainless steel with a martensitic matrix (body centered cubic or cubic), magnetic properties, and adjustable mechanical properties through heat treatment. The American Iron and Steel Institute indicates with numbers 410, 420, and 440. Martensite has an austenitic structure at high temperatures, and when cooled to room temperature at an appropriate rate, the austenitic structure can transform into martensite (i.e. quenched).
04 Austenitic ferritic (duplex) stainless steel. The matrix has a dual phase structure of austenite and ferrite, with a content of less phase matrix generally greater than 15%. It is magnetic and can be strengthened by cold working. 329 is a typical duplex stainless steel. Compared with austenitic stainless steel, duplex steel has higher strength and significantly improved resistance to intergranular corrosion, chloride stress corrosion, and pitting corrosion. 05 precipitation hardening stainless steel. Stainless steel with an austenitic or martensitic matrix that can be hardened through precipitation hardening treatment. The American Iron and Steel Institute uses the 600 series numbers, such as 630, which stands for 17-4PH.
Generally speaking, besides alloys, austenitic stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance. In environments with low corrosiveness, ferritic stainless steel can be used. In mildly corrosive environments, if high strength or hardness is required, martensitic stainless steel and precipitation hardening stainless steel can be used.
Based on the above introduction304 stainless steel explosion-proof box shell OMEOur vast user base can clearly understand that stainless steel explosion-proof boxes have numerous advantages in one; From the perspective of stainless steel appearance; As one of the materials used in explosion-proof boxes, stainless steel is treated with primary color drawing technology; The quality and details are more unsightly and have a certain degree of appreciation;
From the perspective of welding technology, the explosion-proof box is made of stainless steel material; High requirements and strict demands on welding workers; The weld seam of the stainless steel explosion-proof box welded by workers with certain technical information is still very beautiful;
The explosion-proof box made of stainless steel material not only has the explosion-proof function of an explosion-proof box, but also has excellent corrosion resistance and acid and alkali resistance;
We can provide customized 201 stainless steel explosion-proof boxes, 304 stainless steel explosion-proof boxes, and 316L stainless steel explosion-proof boxes for our customers; Explosion proof module box, etc.
