This instrument mainly consists of a high-frequency power supply that provides testing current, current and voltage measurement circuits, and a microcomputer measurement and control system. The instrument measures the grounding impedance by measuring the ratio of the potential rise of the grounding device to the current flowing into the grounding device.

The device adopts 45Hz/55Hz asynchronous power supply technology to suppress power frequency interference, and is equipped with a high-power variable frequency signal source, coupling transformer, and high-precision frequency selection multimeter. Supports both variable frequency and fixed frequency modes, with an output power of 2-20kW, voltage of 0-1000V, current of 0-50A, measurement accuracy of 0.001 Ω level, and basic error as low as ± 0.005 Ω.

Instrument self diagnosis
When "please power on and restart", it may be due to internal power protection of the instrument, shutting down and restarting.
When the power module is incorrect, please contact the manufacturer, move the cursor to the "ground grid", press the "confirm" button ten times, hear the instrument horn sound once, and a reversed printer symbol appears in the bottom left corner of the screen. Then shut down and restart. If testing is still not possible, please contact the manufacturer.
When the test current is 0.0A, there may be poor contact between the "current line" connection and the "current pole" ground post or too few ground posts. It is necessary to increase the ground post and reduce the circuit resistance. The depth of the ground pile should not be less than 0.5m. The resistance of the current pile should be less than 200 Ω.
If the measured value displayed by the instrument is extremely low (<0.01 Ω), it may be because the voltage line is not connected.
When testing the instrument, a resistor with a resistance of 20 ohms or more must be connected in series at the C1 output terminal to simulate the on-site current pile resistance, otherwise it may cause measurement data errors to be too large.
