Overview
The 2L rotary evaporator is mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation, and solvent recovery in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, and biopharmaceuticals. The principle is: under vacuum conditions, constant temperature heating causes the rotating bottle to rotate at a constant speed, forming a large film on the bottle wall and efficiently evaporating the material. The solvent is evaporated and cooled by a high-efficiency glass condenser, recovered and collected in bottles, greatly improving the evaporation efficiency. It is particularly suitable for the concentration and purification of biological substances that are easily decomposed and denatured at high temperatures.

1、 Introduction to the functions of 2L rotary evaporator:
The evaporation bottle rotates at a constant speed and the water bath is heated at a constant temperature. Under these conditions, the material forms a large and uniform thin film on the inner wall of the evaporation bottle and evaporates quickly. Under vacuum conditions, the evaporation efficiency can be improved (by connecting a vacuum device). The solvent vapor is cooled into a liquid through a glass condenser coil (by connecting a cooling device) and recovered in a collection bottle.
This series of products requires a matching vacuum device (circulating water type, rotary vane type, diaphragm type, etc. vacuum pump) and a cooling circulation device to form a system device.
Basic configuration of 2L rotary evaporator
All parts in contact with the material are made of high borosilicate glass (expansion coefficient 3.3) and polytetrafluoroethylene material, which have stable performance and are not prone to chemical reactions with the material.
The main bracket is made of cold plate anti-corrosion spray coating and aluminum alloy material, and the pot liner is made of stainless steel material.
The sealing system adopts a composite seal of polytetrafluoroethylene and fluororubber.
The vacuum pressure gauge displays real-time vacuum and the pointer displays.
The piston type feeding valve is connected to a PTFE extension tube and can continuously feed the evaporator bottle under vacuum.
Integrated condenser with upright double-layer serpentine coils.
Rotating and heating power switch control, flip button (ON-OFF).
Electronic infinite speed regulation, fine tuned by twisting, with digital display of speed.
Temperature display of constant temperature bath pot, K-type sensor at the bottom of the pot+stainless steel probe.

2、 Performance characteristics of 2L rotary evaporator:
1. Equipped with a variable frequency drive, speed digital display, imported variable frequency drive, stable operation.
2. Adopting the EL airtight system, it can maintain a high vacuum degree. Gas liquid separation, no reflux.
3. Adopting a composite seal of polytetrafluoroethylene and fluororubber to maintain high vacuum degree for a long time.
4. Adopting a triple spiral main and auxiliary condenser to ensure recycling.
5. The rotating bottle adopts a flange mouth for quick connection and is equipped with a fixed pin for easy assembly and disassembly.
6. The collection bottle is equipped with pressure reducing, relief, and check valves, and the discharge port adopts a discharge piston, which can achieve non-stop collection and discharge.
7. The distillation flask can be continuously fed without stopping.
8. The vacuum system is equipped with a vacuum gauge, and the corresponding working vacuum degree can be selected for low boiling point materials.
9. The bath pot adopts intelligent PID constant temperature control, which displays the current temperature and set temperature in real time. The bath pot has a lifting function, and the standard configuration is handwheel lifting, with optional electric lifting.
10. This product has a vertical structure, with fasteners made of stainless steel and aluminum alloy castings, and a surface coated with electrostatic spraying, which is aesthetically pleasing and corrosion-resistant.
11. Glass devices are uniformly made of high temperature resistant high boron glass material.
12. Key electrical components are imported, and rubber sealing vulnerable parts are made of standard parts for easy procurement and replacement by users.
