The working principle of the concrete rebound tester is to use a spring to drive the hammer and the restoring force of the instantaneous elastic deformation generated by the hammer hitting the concrete surface through the hammer rod, so that the hammer drives the pointer to rebound and indicate the distance of rebound. An instrument that estimates the compressive strength of concrete by using the rebound value (calculated as a percentage of the distance between the rebound and the distance between the hammer and the rod before impact) as one of the indicators related to the compressive strength of concrete.
