Technical Specification
105E includes a shielded 24-AWG, E-type thermocouple wire. Its connection sensing point is electrically isolated from the soil, which can avoid measurement errors caused by different ground potentials.
The E-type thermocouple is composed of nickel chromium alloy wire and constantan wire. The potential difference between the measuring end and the reference end of a thermocouple at different temperatures is called the voltage potential. Therefore, it can be determined by measuring the potential difference generated by the two wires connected at one endSet the temperature. The magnitude of thermocouple voltage potential is related to temperature difference.
Thermocouple temperature measurement requires measuring a reference temperature, and many of our data collectors have built-in temperature sensors in their wiring panels that can measure the reference temperature.
