The potential power quality issues that may be encountered during the production process mainly include the following aspects:

(1) Voltage fluctuations and flicker:

High power equipment and process lead to rapid changes in power load, which in turn impact the power grid and cause voltage fluctuations. The current harmonics generated by power electronic equipment such as intermediate frequency furnaces and direct current furnaces interfere with the normal operation of the power grid, exacerbating voltage fluctuations and flicker. The inherent characteristics of power grid capacity, impedance distribution, and reactive power compensation also affect voltage stability. In addition, external factors such as weather, operating conditions of other equipment, and changes in grid load can also affect voltage stability.

(2) Harmonic pollution:

In the production process, there are multiple stages involved, such as feeding, melting, necking growth, shoulder laying growth, equal diameter growth, and tail growth.
