Measuring principle

By using wear-resistant diamond measuring needle components and precise motorized driving devices, the correct horizontal distance of travel is ensured. When the measuring needle passes through the peaks and valleys, the highly sensitive piezoelectric sensor can detect its vertical movement and then convert the mechanical movement into an electronic signal. The electronic signal will be digitized and sent to the microprocessor, and then the surface roughness parameters will be calculated in real-time using standardized algorithms.
