LIBS laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy system
The LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy system focuses ultra short pulse laser on the surface of a sample to form a plasma. The emission spectrum of the plasma is analyzed using a spectrometer to identify the elemental composition of the sample, which can be used for material identification, classification, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
TrLIBS-LABlaboratoryThe LIBS laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy system mainly consists of a laser, high-resolution spectrometer, LIBS optical path collection probe, XYZ sample chamber, trigger delay controller, etc. Due to its modular design and strong scalability, it is very suitable for scientific research, LIBS optical application experiments, optical application centers and other users. Different lasers and spectrometers can be flexibly configured according to specific needs.

Main application areas
lCoal quality analysis and combustion product analysis
lOnline component analysis in the metallurgical industry
lMineral exploration and online analysis of ore quality
lSoil heavy metal analysis, biomaterials, aerosols, nanoparticles
lNuclear materials, waste, petroleum products
lBuilding materials, archaeology, casting, gold and jewelry testing
The detection limit of LIBS largely depends on the type of sample being tested, the type of element, and the specific selection and configuration of the laser and spectrometer. Based on the above reasons, the detection limit of LIBS can range from a few ppm to the% level. In most conventional applications, the LIBS detection limit can reach 10 ppm to 100 ppm for the vast majority of elements. In quantitative analysis, the relative standard deviation of measurement results obtained through LIBS can reach within 3-5%, while for homogeneous materials, it can usually be within 2% or even<1%.
The usual detection limit of LIBS
lElements such as Li, Be, B, Na, Mg, Al, K, Ca, etc.>10ppm, which is 0.001%
lTi, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mo 等元素>100ppm即0.01%
lC. Elements such as N, O, P, Si, etc.>200ppm, which is 0.02%
lF. Cl, Br, S and other elements>0.5%

technical advantage
lThe broad scope of elemental analysis includesLight elements (such as C, H, O, N, Li, Be, B) and heavy elements with Z<12
llaboratoryLIBS system: including laser, spectrometer, optical path acquisition system, 3D displacement table linkage control system, dual camera image linkage acquisition system, etc
lLIBS spectral acquisition and analysis software, element peak matching recognition and online element concentration prediction, element concentration quantitative analysis modeling and analysis software (peak height method, peak area method, peak height ratio, peak area ratio)
lAnalysis speed is fast, ranging from seconds to minutes
lAlmost no sample preparation time is required, and solid samples or even powders (or excipients or adhesives) can be analyzed
lNo need for reaction reagents, more environmentally friendly, and safer
lRequires fewer samples than other elemental analysis instruments
lMicro level depth analysis and 3D mapping
lMicro analysis to macro analysis, targeted and flexible fixed-point precise analysis
lQualitative sample classification or quantitative element concentration
lMultiple laser and spectral acquisition probe options can be configured to meet your needs
lThe detection limit for most elements is10 ppm to several tens of ppm
