How to choose an electronic balance? Choosing an electronic balance should consider whether it meets the accuracy requirements for weighing based on the accuracy (division value e) of the electronic balance. If choosing a balance with a precision of 0.1mg or 0.01mg, it is important not to generalize that a balance with a precision of one ten thousandth or one hundred thousandth should be used, as there are some foreign scales that require such precisionmanufacturerThe balance is measured by relative accuracy, otherwise the purchased balance cannot meet the needs of the user. For example, in practical work, when encountering a situation where a Mettler electronic balance with an actual scale division value d of 1mg, a calibration scale division value e of 10mg, and a large weighing capacity of 200g is used to weigh an object weighing 7mg, accurate results cannot be obtained. According to the "JJG98-90 Non Automatic Balance Trial Verification Regulations", the maximum allowable error is of the same order of magnitude as the calibration scale division value "e", and the maximum allowable error of this balance is 1e. Obviously, it cannot weigh an object weighing 7mg; Weighing an object weighing 15mg using this type of balance is not the best choice, as the relative error of its test results can be significant. A higher-level balance should be chosen, as some manufacturers have already specified the value for small weighing at the factory. Therefore, when choosing and using electronic scales, we must consider the accuracy level.
⑵ Requirements for symmetrical measurement range: When choosing an electronic balance, in addition to its accuracy, it should also be considered whether the large scale meets the requirements of the measurement range. Usually, adding a small safety factor to a large load is sufficient, which is commonly usedloadJust relax a bit more, not the bigger the better.
