Zhejiang Heat Treatment Society 2019 Academic Annual Meeting

On December 21st, the "Zhejiang Heat Treatment Society 2019 Academic Annual Conference" was held in Longwan, hosted by the Zhejiang Heat Treatment Society and Wenzhou Heat Treatment Society, and organized by Wenzhou University, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Industry and Trade Vocational and Technical College, and Longwan District Science and Technology Association. More than 200 experts, entrepreneurs, and other professionals from relevant industries across the country attended the conference.Hangzhou Jingjing Testing Instrument Co., Ltd. was invited to attend and showcase fully automatic Vickers hardness tester, fully automatic grinding and polishing machine, metallographic microscope, metallographic consumables and other instruments and equipment. It attracted the attention of bosses in various heat treatment industry companies, and equipment was signed on site by heat treatment companies.

It is understood that the heat treatment related industry has a strong foundation in Longwan and academic research results are widely applied. Among them, valves are the pillar industry in Longwan District, and an industrial cluster has been formed in the district, mainly consisting of general-purpose valves, stainless steel, actuators, flanges, pipe fittings, seals, and standard parts, which are closely related to heat treatment technology.

The relevant person in charge of Longwan District expressed the hope that through this event, experts and enterprises can further understand Longwan, showcase their talents and achieve their dreams in Longwan, help Longwan enterprises overcome technical difficulties, and empower industrial transformation and upgrading. Xu Jiangping, a Ph.D. and doctoral supervisor from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University, also has a positive outlook on the development prospects of heat treatment technology in Longwan. He said, "Heat treatment is a key process in the manufacturing production process, and it is suggested that industry university research cooperation can better promote the development of enterprises

At the subsequent academic conference, experts and scholars presented research reports on topics such as "Research Progress and Exploration of High Performance Multi Principal Component Alloys", "Preparation and Properties of Ionic Liquid Conversion Coatings on Magnesium Alloy Surfaces", and "Research Progress on Laser Deep Quenching Technology Based on Induction Heating Synchronous Compliance". The report covers all aspects of heat treatment technology, which not only promotes exchanges between industries, but also provides a communication platform and application technology support for regional heat treatment development, promoting the integration of industry and education.

In addition, the launch ceremony of Wenzhou Heat Treatment Association (preparatory) was also held at the meeting.
