The symposium on the development of the biomanufacturing instrument and equipment industry was successfully held-Chemical Instrument Network

On November 26, 2024, the "Symposium on the Development of Biological Manufacturing Instrument and Equipment Industry" hosted by Tianmu Biotechnology was held at the International Life Science Innovation Park in Xinwu District, Wuxi City. This symposium brought together various forces in the field of biomanufacturing, including government, industry, academia, research, and finance, to share cutting-edge achievements, explore industry development trends, and jointly seek industrial development.

Professor Liu Long, Dean of the School of Bioengineering at Jiangnan University, Mr. Liu Jiang, Vice President and General Manager of Revvity Greater China Business, Mr. Huang Haifeng, Managing Director of Qingkong Jinxin, Professor Zhang Chong from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University, and Researcher Xia Jianye from the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered speeches. The symposium was chaired by Dr. Fang. The symposium discussed the broad development prospects of the biomanufacturing industry from multiple perspectives, including scientific research, industry, and capital, and shared the fruitful research achievements in their respective fields.

The attending guests also had lively discussions on the cutting-edge trends and future prospects of the life science instrument industry, as well as the global strategic layout of local scientific instruments. They jointly explored the key role of life science instruments in the field of biomanufacturing and analyzed in depth the opportunities and challenges faced by the domestic scientific instrument industry.

During the symposium, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony was also held between Tianmu Biotechnology, Revvity, and ASONE.

Before the symposium, a ceremony was also held for the opening of the new office building of Tsinghua Wuxi Institute Biological Breeding Research Center/Tianmu Biology; Leaders and experts from the Party Working Committee of Wuxi High tech Zone, High tech Zone Science and Technology Bureau, Taike Park and Life Park, as well as relevant units such as Tsinghua Wuxi Research Institute, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Jiangnan University College of Engineering, attended the ceremony. The opening of the new office space is a milestone in the development of Tianmu Biotechnology.
