Microcomputer relay protection testerThe main object is the relay protection device for high voltage transmission lines of 220kV and below, and through the simulation system, it detects various faults, outputs three-phase voltage, current or DC test voltage, simulates the occurrence and removal process of various faults such as single-phase grounding, two-phase short circuit, three-phase short circuit, etc., simulates the changes in current and voltage during the fault process, and thus tests the overall operational performance of the tested protection device. Before the operation of the microcomputer relay protection tester, the person in charge of the work must conduct a hazard analysis to the members of the work team, explain the work tasks and division of labor, emphasize the work location, operating equipment conditions, and precautions, and check whether the safety measures are arranged in accordance with the requirements to effectively prevent the occurrence of abnormalities.

Before operating the equipment, it is necessary to check the equipment name and strictly prevent the wrong interval and misoperation protection. The microcomputer relay protection tester uses voltage and current to change from normal operating values to fault values, while testing the response status and response speed of relay protection devices to faults. It verifies various types of protection devices such as voltage, current, negative sequence, impedance, and direction. Testers are not allowed to move switch handles, trolley switches, grounding button alarms, alarm bells, reset buttons, trip pressure plates, fuses, voltage switches, etc. while working in the substation or on-site. If it is necessary to operate the above equipment for work purposes, permission must be obtained from the relevant operating personnel and the operation must be carried out under the supervision of the operating personnel.

When it is necessary to drill holes near the operating protection panel or when working with vibration, it is strictly prohibited to drill holes on the operating protection panel. Anti vibration measures must be taken, and relevant protection measures must be stopped if necessary. When handling or placing microcomputer relay protection testers in the aisle before and after the control panel or protection panel, sufficient distance must be maintained to prevent accidental tripping of switches caused by accidental touch.
