The "Zhongkai Dayuan Oasis" Food Safety Quick Inspection Skills Competition has come to a successful conclusion!

On April 19, 2025, the "Zhongkai Dayuan Oasis" Food Safety Rapid Inspection Skills Competition, jointly organized by the Food Quality and Safety major of the Light Industry and Food College of Zhongkai Agricultural Engineering College and Guangdong Dayuan Oasis Food Safety Technology Co., Ltd., successfully concluded after preliminary theoretical exams and final practical assessments.

This skills competition attracted 66 students from Zhongkai Agricultural Engineering College, Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College, and Guangdong Light Industry Vocational and Technical University to sign up for the competition. The main purpose is to test the participants' familiarity with food related laws and regulations, basic knowledge of fast inspection technology, and fast inspection methods. The contestants fully demonstrated their solid theoretical knowledge and professional practical skills, showcasing their food safety protection skills through skilled combat! Theoretical Scene: Knowledge Building Defense Line adopts a closed book format, with a total of 50 questions and 100 points. Assess the familiarity of contestants with food related laws and regulations, basic knowledge of rapid inspection technology, and operational norms of rapid inspection methods. The competition lasts for 30 minutes. The group members' scores are added up and averaged, accounting for 40%.

Theoretical assessment

On site practice: Fingertip competition to see the real chapter randomly selects 10 samples of pesticide residues, enrofloxacin, and ractopamine, three types of rapid testing items. The exam time is 90 minutes, and the on-site judges score based on the test results of the contestants.

Practical assessment

Competition results: Hard work and abundant harvest. The final score of the contestants is composed of theoretical scores and practical operation scores added up. A total of 10 teams stood out and won honors and bonuses.
