The 11th Symposium on Microbial Breeding Engineering and Application Evaluation in 2025 has successfully concluded!

On July 22, 2025, the two-day "11th Symposium on Microbial Breeding Engineering and Application Evaluation and the 8th Academic Conference of the Microbial Breeding Engineering and Application Evaluation Branch of the China Biological Fermentation Industry Association" was successfully concluded at Inner Mongolia University of Technology.

The theme of this conference is“Synthetic biology drives innovation, AI+biomanufacturing empowers the future”Organized by the China Bio Fermentation Industry Association, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology (Inner Mongolia University of Technology), Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University, Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering at Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, and Wuxi Institute of Applied Technology at Tsinghua University, co organized by Shandong University Inner Mongolia Research Institute, China Resources Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Ruifudi Biomedical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and undertaken by the School of Chemical Engineering at Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Luoyang Huaqing Tianmu Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Yuanqing Tianmu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. More than 400 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and senior technical personnel from academia and industry participated in this conference.

Baoyin Hexi, President of Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Wang Jie, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Bio Fermentation Industry Association, and Xing Xinhui, Vice Dean of the Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering at Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, delivered opening speeches. At the opening ceremony, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology held a plaque unveiling ceremony.

This conference focuses on innovation and synthetic biology in industrial microbial breeding technology, innovation and development in high-throughput strain screening technology, optimization of fermentation process technology, scaling up and automation, intelligent control AI enabled green bio manufacturing, microbial detection and application evaluation technology and other topics were invited from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Jiangnan University, Shandong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Zhejiang University of Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Tsinghua University, Northeastern University, Hubei University, Chinese Academy of Sciences Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Process, Tianjin University, Dalian University of Technology, Jiangsu University, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Chengdu Institute of Biogas Science, East China University of Technology, South China University of Technology, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Guangxi University of Science and Technology, Ruifudi Biomedical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., China Resources Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 28 domestic senior experts in the academic and industrial fields of biological breeding from companies such as Ltd. Experts have released high-level reports on various aspects such as new technologies, new products, and new trends. They not only showcased the latest research findings and industry trends, but also provided innovative ideas and development directions for our work. Finally, Professor Zhang Chong, the Secretary General of the conference, gave a summary report.
