From June 25th to July 28th, 2020, the working group conducted a "carpet style+stubble style" on-site investigation of 126 key air pollution emissions in the old city area, construction sites, catering units, gas stations, small auto repair and printing, and other industrial enterprises. The basic understanding of the current situation of air pollution prevention and control in the old city area was obtained, and the key source on-site inspection points were preliminarily determined. The efficiency of catering oil fume purification equipment, road dust deposition load, and particulate matter film sampling near national control stations were successively tested and analyzed

The project is conducted by research institutions such as the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Tsinghua University, and Fujian University to screen pollution sources in the old urban area of Luoyang City. Urban dust accumulation is one of the sub contents, and is undertaken by Associate Professor Man Hanyang from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Fujian Normal University.
