How to Source Reliable Polyacrylamide from Top Manufacturers and Suppliers
Shouxin Advanced Polymer Sciences provides high-performance polyacrylamide (PAM) solutions for water treatment, mining, pulp and paper, and industrial applications.CPR, abbreviated as CPR, is one of the emergency measures that must be taken within 4-6 minutes for cardiac arrest caused by various reasons. The purpose of cardiac resuscitation is to quickly rescue brain cells from necrosis under hypoxic conditions, so the faster the rescue time, the better. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is suitable for conscious coma with respiratory and cardiac arrest caused by sudden heart disease, drowning, suffocation, or other unexpected events.
Referring to the 2010 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Cardiovascular Emergency Care in the United States, combined with the opinions of domestic experts, in the event of sudden cardiac death, cardiopulmonary resuscitation can be performed according to the CAB procedure; Start with your hands first, then move your mouth. The most crucial initial measures for patients with the highest survival rate from cardiac arrest are chest compressions (artificial circulation) and early defibrillation. Advance the artificial circulation (chest compressions) to * program, and immediately start chest compressions for any unresponsive or non breathing adult patient, known as artificial circulation. In this way, the key points are grasped, time is saved, and it is conducive to the timely participation of witnesses, thereby improving the success rate of rescue.
For sudden death patients, it is recommended to perform artificial cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at * time, * scene, * witness. The earlier the emergency time, the higher the survival rate. Research has found that performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation within 1 minute of falling to the ground has a 90% chance of survival; 60% within 2 minutes; 40% within 4 minutes; 20% within 8 minutes; After more than 10 minutes, it's basically zero.
What should we do if an adult suddenly falls down? Please remember the mnemonic for the steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation: call - call - C-A-B. (Refer to the 'Sudden Death Emergency Procedure Chart')
1. Call: Confirm Patient Awareness
After ensuring the safety of the on-site environment and ensuring that personal protective measures are in place, pat the patient's shoulders and loudly inquire by approaching the patient's ear“What's wrong with you?”“Are you okay?”“Did you hear that?”If awake, CPR is not necessary. If there is no response from the patient and the pulsation of the carotid artery disappears, it is determined to be loss of consciousness. This is usually completed within 10 seconds.
2. Call: Call Notification 120
If the patient is confirmed to have lost consciousness, they should immediately shout for help and call for an ambulance at 120. They should calmly inform the situation, location, and obvious position, and send someone to the street corner to guide the ambulance. As long as the patient or injured person is unconscious, they should be sent to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible. During the waiting for rescue, the following first aid actions can be performed.
3. C (Compression): Perform chest compressions
Place the patient flat on a hard bed or cement floor and lie on their back. Encourage untrained ordinary witnesses to perform CPR with only chest compressions under the guidance of emergency personnel. Take 5-10 seconds to press the carotid artery outward about 1.5 to 2 centimeters from the midline of the patient's neck (at the male Adam's apple) with both the index and middle fingers. If there is a pulse but no breathing, perform mouth to mouth artificial respiration, blow one breath every five seconds (12 breaths per minute), and then check the pulse for 5 seconds. If there is no pulse, perform chest compressions. Slide up from the lower edge of the rib cage in the patient's abdomen to the chest where the rib meets the sternum. Place your index and middle fingers together on the sternum above the chest, and place the other palm close to the index finger on the midline of the sternum. This is the massage position. Move your middle and middle fingers away, and place this palm above the other palm. Clasping and lifting the ten fingers of both hands, using only the soles of the palms to press against the sternum. Press continuously at a rate of 100 times per minute for 5 groups or 2 minutes, followed by 2 artificial breaths. Maintain airway patency, adopt a lateral position, and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
4. A (Airway, open the airway): Keep the patient's respiratory tract unobstructed
If the patient's face is facing downwards, the rescuer must fix their back neck with one hand and place the other hand on the outer side of their buttocks, smoothly turning over (with the head, neck, and back in a straight line) into a supine position. To avoid cervical spine injury, try to have the patient lie on a solid and flat surface instead of soft areas, otherwise it is not conducive to emergency treatment. Press the forehead with one hand, and gently raise the chin with the middle and middle fingers of the other hand to keep the head tilted back. The line connecting the jaw and ears is perpendicular to the ground. If there is suspicion of cervical fracture, use both hands to lightly support the lower jaws on both sides to tilt the head back. Open their mouth and remove loose dentures, broken teeth, or foreign objects to prevent inhalation into the lungs or blockage.
5. B (Breathing): Performing artificial respiration
Take 3-5 seconds, place your ears close to the patient's mouth and nose, observe (chest movements), listen, and feel (exhalation) breathing. If there is breathing, keep the airway clear, adopt a lateral position, and immediately seek medical attention. If there is no breathing, keep their head tilted back, gently pinch their nostrils, and take two consecutive breaths. Blow for 1.5 to 2 seconds each time, then open your nostrils to release air. Wait for your chest to fall before taking a second breath.

In recent years, the incidence of sudden death has increased, and there is a clear trend towards younger people. There are more white-collar workers who die suddenly, and many elites die young, which is regrettable. So, care for yourself and others, please actively learn CPR first aid and use it when necessary. Help more patients and prevent more tragic sudden deaths from happening.
